Tampon printing and antistatic equipment

This drawing show you the two principal problems which we can meet during tampon printing process :

• The tampon touches the product to print itself and as it is in silicon, it is deformed by the pressure. Due to this deformation, a static charge is generated and it disturbs the printing thanks of paint splashes.
We advises : a 1250 antistatic bar at 200 mm of tampon.

• We have to discharge and to remove dust on products before the tampon printing. If a product put dusts on the tampon, the printing will contaminate the following production.
So, Boussey Control advises : a 4200 ionised air nozzle.
