How the 2020 ionised air blower works?
An integrated power supply generates high voltage which is transmitted to emitters around the
axial fan to create ionised air. The airflow from the fan transports the ionised air to the object to
be neutralised.
Application
The balanced and controlled ionised air produced by the 2020 was originally designed to meet
the requirements of the electronics industry, but it is used in many other areas of industry:
Pharmaceutical and medical: neutralising the charge on packaging and in production.
Plastics: on injection mouldings, extrusions, bottles.
General industry: automated lines, bowl feeders.
Packaging: wrapping machines, thermoforming.

Neutralisation/Charge reduction : |
5000V to 500V -1.5 seconds at 300mm
1000V to 100V -1.0 seconds at 300mm
|
Alarm : |
An audible alarm will sound if the ionised air balance exceeds 50V.
If there is too much positive ionisation the yellow LED will illuminate.
If there is too much negative ionisation the red LED will illuminate.
The unit can be brought back into balance by adjustment of the balance control.
